About the Author
Anil K. Gupta is Chair in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Smith School of Business, U. of Maryland, Visiting Professor of Strategy at INSEAD, and chief advisor to The China India Institute. He is author of 4 books and 70+ papers in leading academic journals. He was recently recognized by the Economist magazine as one of the world’s “rising superstars.” Girija Pande is Chairman of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, where he oversees business in 13 Asia Pacific countries. TCS-APAC has over 11,000 associates. He is also the Vice Chairman of the TCS-China JV with the Chinese Government. TCS has operated in China for 9 years and currently has 2,000+ associates. Haiyan Wang is Managing Partner of the China India Institute and Adjunct Professor of Strategy at INSEAD. She serves as a regular columnist for BusinessWeek, as a Contributing Editor for the Chief Executive magazine, and as a blogger for Harvard Business Review.
